Joe Don is from Groesbeck, Texas, just twelve miles down the road from Mexia. In case you were wondering.
Yup, FRAMED is a lean, tough movie like they don't make anymore. The Baker/Roy Jenson fight is a keeper, as is Baker's confrontation with Paul Mantee close to the end. FRAMED also has a stunning stunt in which Baker's double dives out of a stalled car seconds before a rampaging locomotive turns it into a fireball--one that appears to (probably unintentionally) engulf the stuntman as he rolls away from the car. Amazing, and--again--the kind of stunt Hollywood doesn't do anymore.
